Take a quick look at the results across all our teams this weekend
8th September 2025
The 1st team travelled to Thamesmead to face Erith Town in The FA Trophy. BC fired the Hoops ahead prior to a converted Oluwasemo penalty for the hosts in the second half. As the tie headed into penalties, it was Tonkin as club saviour; not only scoring but saving the final penalty to see us progress 3-2 on penalties.
Our women's team kicked-off their season in the South East Counties Women's Football League (Division 1) with a compounding 5-0 victory over neighbours Ramsgate. A brace from both Cally Evans and Mollie Smith, plus a strike from Hollie Laming, ensures the Women are off to a strong start.
Last Thursday evening, our U23s secured an impressive win against Lydd Town; a 7-1 victory at the Charles Ground under the lights.
There were mixed fortunes for our youth teams, who started their 2025-26 season. No game for the U18s as they play in the FA Youth Cup on Monday evening, away to Ramsgate, 7pm kick off. This replayed fixture as a result of last week's abandonment, due to the serious injury sustained by the Ramsgate FC goalkeeper.
The U16s, playing at home, won a tight and competitive fixture against Cuxton 1991, with our goal coming from the spot by Hoile. The U14s also faced the same opposition, but a trip up the A2 to Medway; unfortunately it wasn't their day as they lost 5-1. The Deal goal coming from Stennett.
Our U13s (pictured), starting in their first season in the Kent Youth League, were in fine form away against Baypoint. The boys started the season strongly winning 9-0 with goals coming from Thomas (3), King (2), Styles (2), Talling (1) and Stennett (1).
Many thanks to Baypoint Sports Club for their hospitality, and for being our youth section home venue for the season ahead.
Looking ahead this week; the U13s are at home against Cray Wanderers in the League Cup, U14s play Herne Bay Youth at home, whilst the under 16s travel to Ramsgate in the league. The 1st Team have an important FA Cup fixture at home to Egham Town on Saturday.
