Reflecting on the 2025/26 Season

As the dust settles on the 2025/26 season, Kingy reflects on another successful campaign in the Ishtmian South East, narrowly missing out on playoffs and his reflections on the last campaign.
“ To come in the top eight again was a great achivement and to beat last year's points tally, in this league, is something that we're all really proud of. ”
A season of progression
I am really pleased with how the season's gone overall. To come in the top eight again was a great achievement and to beat last year's points tally to achieve 69 points was, I think, in this league is something that we're all really proud of.
It would probably be wrong for me to say there wasn't a little bit of disappointment with how the season finished because obviously with the run that we went on in sort of February, March, where we won eight games on the spin. We really got ourselves in the play-off picture and we were hoping to try and get a little bit closer in the end. There were a couple of disappointing results in the last five or six games, but I think we've been on such a good run and we've just run out of steam a little bit.
Yes, there's a tinge of disappointment because we wanted to try and see if we could sneak in the playoffs.
“ When we review what's happened over 42 games, to win our last two away games, obviously to finish with a win, yeah, we're really pleased with how it's gone. ”
