In Loving Memory of Muriel Skirrow

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our beloved former Club Director, Muriel Skirrow. 

Muriel joined the Club's Board on the 01st October 2014, until she stood down in May 2024, and many of supporters will be familiar with her glowing presence in the kitchen on matchdays. Not only a volunteer but she became a loved member of the Deal Town family; the Hoops were a huge part of Muriel's life and she will remain part of ours forever. 

Beyond the club, Muriel was a beacon of kindness, wisdom, and generosity. As we come together to celebrate Muriel's remarkable life, let us honor her legacy by continuing to uphold the values she so passionately championed. The void left by her passing is immeasurable, but the memories and lessons Muriel imparted will forever guide us.

All of our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Muriel’s family, friends, and all who were touched by her presence.
